Record high temperatures and uncertain snowpack conditions made the call for us. With Snowbowl's snowmaking operations concluded for the season as of March 1, we weren't willing to risk an event that didn't live up to Boze's legacy.
So instead, we're doing what Boze would have done — showing up anyway, just differently.

We've launched the 2026 FSST Slush Fund — an online fundraiser benefiting FSSTS operations and athlete scholarships for the upcoming season. Donations are tax-deductible.
The Boze Bump Bash will return.
Thank you for your support. 💙
Slushfest 2026 is our answer to a warm forecast and a cancelled event. We're not sitting this one out. We're turning it into something. Help us fill the 2026 FSST Slush Fund, support our athletes, and keep this community strong for next season. Why fight it? Get in on it.

There's nothing quite like watching your community throw themselves down a mogul field in a dinosaur costume while strangers cheer from the sidelines. We're missing that energy this year more than we can say. Next year we bring it all back — bigger, better, and with you in it. 💙

The chaos, the cowbells — we're missing all of it this year. But next year? We're coming back louder, wilder, and with more stoke than ever. Start planning your costume now. Y
ou've been warned. 🎭

The laughter. The costumes. The competition. The community packed onto a snowy hillside cheering each other on like it's the Olympics. The feeling that only happens when your whole crew is together on the mountain doing something ridiculous and magical at the same time. We'll be back for all of it. 💙

Celebrating the Life of Brian “Boze” Boyer
Brian Keith Boyer — known to many as “Boze, Wonderful Boze” — was the kind of man who made the world warmer just by being in it. Son of Charles and Winifred Boyer, Brian passed on June 7, 2016 after a courageous and relentless battle with brain cancer.
But this day isn’t about loss.
It’s about celebrating his life.
Boze was humble. Kind. Steady. The guy with the easy grin, the strong hug, the contagious laugh. He showed up — for family, for friends, for community — with compassion and heart every single time. Those who knew him carry that warmth with them still.
Keep up to date on all things FSST!
